If you want to use your GPS tracker for kids or the vulnerable (e.g. elderly parents, dementia patients) we recommend the following settings. These are only suggestions, but using them as a guide will help you to get the most out of your personal tracker for your needs.

Personal GPS Tracker Settings

Account Settings

We recommend the Unlimited Data Plan for tracking people as it enables motion detection. You can update your data plan here.

Tracker Settings

Follow the steps below to set up your personal GPS tracker:

1. On the app go to Menu - select 'Tracker Settings'

2. Step 2/7 'Operation Mode' - select ‘Motion Tracking’

3. Step 3/7 ‘Safe-zones' - enter your home Wi-Fi details

We recommend setting up a home Wi-Fi safe zone. This means that when your device is out of range of the home Wi-Fi, you will receive increased location updates. This is great if kids go on a play-date or if an elderly person unexpectedly leaves home.

4. Step 5/7 Wake Mode’ - select update rate
Choose the the time interval that will be most suitable for you when the device is moving and out of the range of the home Wi-Fi. Selecting a higher interval rate will result in better battery life.

5. Step 6/7 ‘Sleep Mode’ - select update rate
Choose the time interval that will be most suitable for you when the device is nearby the home Wi-Fi. Selecting a higher interval rate will result in better battery life.
